It has been a while since I have posted something on the blog.  I am a bit busy at the moment so for now, I will give you a little brief of what I have been up to lately …  I have been to New York!!!! and oh my, did I like it? I bloody loooved it!  I went on holidays with Philippe and my dear mother in law.  It was her 70 years birthday present ;)  It was an awesome trip .. and I can’t wait to do it again!

While I was there I started a new personal project.  It consist in contacting people in the city I visit and photographing them in their home and in their neighborhood.   In New York I met 3 amazing girls.  I will do a blog post of each of them with a little story and lots of photos, but for now a little introduction ..

This is Tiny D/Sarah.  She is an art director at Inc magazine by day, Zumba instructor in the evenings and burlesque dancer at night, lives in New York, with her husband and two cats.

This is Ernie. She is a photo editor living in New York, with her two dogs.

And this is Mara. She is an assistant buyer for a cookware store, and looves to cook. She lives in New York with 2 roommates and her 2 cats. She baked me the most amazing cake while I was there!!

Then I went to Barcelona to photograph a gorgeous Spanish wedding ..

And while I was there I spend some days with my good old friend Lisa and her family, who I included in my project .

This is Lisa.  She is a photographer and an artist.  She lives in Barcelona with her husband and her two daughters.

Now I’m home trying to catch up, before I leave to Dakar, Senegal next week.  I know I travel a lot and I am so grateful for the opportunities that are coming to me. Before I would probably had said no to some of this trips, since they are planned so close to each other, but I have decided to say yes to the opportunities that comes to me and see what happens .. so far it has been a wonderful ride ;)
